Jarel has had a crush on Cailey since he was in 6th grade and apparently got turned down by her when he asked her to be his girlfriend. (Cailey doesn’t remember this happening.) Jarel + Cailey really first met when they were in high school. They had made it official back when Cailey was a sophomore and Jarel was a freshman, but like any typical young high school relationship, it didn’t work. They split apart for a year, tried it again, and have been inseparable ever since.

Cailey is the one person that since day 1 has been able to make Jarel laugh, and act freely. She lights up a room whenever she walks in, and never fails to make everyone laugh or smile. When he could feel comfortable and free around her right away, he knew she was the one.

The third time Jarel + Cailey ever hung out was at her family’s farm, she went looking for him on the farm and found him helping her siblings clean their barn in the freezing cold Iowa weather. This is how she knew he was the one.

It’s not very often that you meet a couple like these two. Jarel + Cailey have been together 8 yrs and so many people have been looking forward to this day. The 15 wks leading up to their wedding was mostly spent apart as Jarel finished training at the police academy, so being together on their wedding day was that much more meaningful to them. Jarel +Cailey understand the significance of the vows they made to each other, as displayed in the words they carefully chose, and promises they made in their hand written vows. All the feels for their wedding at the Winan Creek Barn.
