EVEN THE SEEMINGLY ORDINARY + MUNDANE MOMENTS ARE BEAUTIFUL AND DESERVE TO BE DOCUMENTED IN AN “EVERYDAY ‘US’ FILM!”

Who else grew up creating movies with their parents camcorders? Or have watched an hour long home video of your family opening presents on Christmas morning? Setting the videocamera on a tripod for a significant amount of time must have just been something ya just did in the 90’s.

I have found so much joy in photographing the uniqueness of each family and the fleeting moments that become so precious as your littles grow up. But now I’m excited for this new venture of learning to offer those same moments in “Everyday ‘Us’ Films” or family videography. You see, there’s one little thing that a family video captures that photos just can’t, and that’s sound. There is something really special about hearing their little voices and seeing their movements that gives me all the feels.

Just watch this little family film I documented the other night as we roasted marshmallows and made s’mores around the campfire..I can’t wait for my kiddos to watch it when they’re older. My favorite parts are the sticky fingers, the winter boots with shorts, and “You’re the best marshmallow roaster!”

As I begin this new journey down videography lane my desire is for these family films to be perfectly imperfect, to capture a little glimpse into your story, the life you are building together, your everyday family days, your “us!”

I’m excited to take this venture with you and document your family with videography. However, before I start offering this service I would like some more practice.
