David + Hallie | Cedar Rapids Iowa Wedding

It was the Sunday morning of Memorial Day weekend one year ago. Hallie was sleeping (like 7 am) and heard the doorbell ring, which was weird..(David is typically up before Hallie so she thought maybe he went out and forgot his house keys.) Then she rolled over and saw her phone ringing, it was David. Hallie answered and he told her to walk downstairs.. She saw 4 letters, flowers, and coffee. David told her not to panic and to not call anyone! He also told her, “Don’t worry about getting ready, but take your time.” (yeah right, Hallie knew what was coming so she knew she had to get ready.) David was sending her on a scavenger hunt and every location was something pertaining to their love story. The first stop was where he first saw Hallie. The second was where their first date was (Mines of Spain.) Hallie had to do a little hiking and David was on top of a cliff and yelled out asking her to marry him.

A year and a half later / a couple weeks ago, on October 23, these two celebrated their marriage with their family + friends! Just look at how beautiful their day was at All Saints Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids and then their wedding reception at Red Cedar Lodge, Wanatee Park. A perfect fall wedding day!
