Alex gave Katie his cell phone number, and she sent him a text. He responded “Holler at your Boi,” which turned her off so she stopped talking to him. Several weeks went by and he turned her down multiple times to hang out, and then they finally met up after a Royals playoff game in 2015. They started hanging out all the time. Alex brought up wanting to be in a relationship, and Katie said no. They continued to hang out and 8 months later Katie told Alex she loved him, to which he responded “I didn’t know if you even liked me.” …..And now they’re here!
Alex + Katie had been waiting 5 months to get married! (Well, actually longer, but 5 months since what was suppose to be their first wedding date back in March.) They made the best of that situation and bought a, “we were suppose to get married today,” new dog. (Great decision!) Then they planned an intimate ceremony in the mountains with family. Despite COVID, wild fires, and smokey skies, Alex + Katie had the most perfect day Colorado mountain wedding!
