Josiah + Jessica met in college! They just naturally fell into the same friend group and hung out a lot their first year of college! The first week of sophomore year Jessica was helping out with an event at school to help welcome in the freshman. Part of the activity meant Jessica would take a few freshman in her car drive them around to different stations in Ankeny. Before she knew it Josiah offered to go with her and be her navigator! These two spent the whole evening just driving around Ankeny, laughing, with three random freshman they didn’t know. Josiah couldn’t sleep after that night and knew he liked Jessica at that point! Two weeks later Jessica realized that she was crazy about him too and then their second semester sophomore year Josiah asked Jessica to be his girlfriend! She gladly accepted. A couple years later he dropped on one knee and said a lot of cute things and then asked her to marry him! Jessica said YES!.

It’s easy to see the way these two love each other, the people around them, and the Lord. This was evident in their entire wedding day.
